Summer Party at Burgmaier

Also this year, the management of the company BURGMAIER invited all employees with their families to the annual summer party on July 13, 2019. Together with colleagues, everyone spent a great day on the sports field in Allmendingen.

Just in time for the start of the event at 3:00 pm, the rain clouds of the past few days started to break up with the arrival of the first of around 360 guests. The managing partner, Karl-Hugo Schick, thanked all employees in his welcoming speech for their tireless dedication and the work they had done, which made a significant contribution to the success of the company. The Burgmaier pensioners, who were present at the summer party for the first time, were especially welcomed this year, and special thanks were also due to the employees who contributed to their well-being with a home-baked cake.

As every year, employees were rewarded for submitting suggestions for improvement. In addition to a recognition bonus, which each employee receives after submission of his proposal, the employee also takes part in the tombola annually. Most coveted main prize was the travel voucher over € 500, -. As the proud winner, Mr. Jochen Sailer was able to take this prize home. In addition to food vouchers in Schützen in Laupheim or the brewery in Berg, the employees were also able to win a fuel voucher of gas station Fuchs, some Amazon vouchers or voucher for the construction market Toom. As in the previous year, the raffle was moderated by Mr. Clifford Howald, Commercial Director.

Culinary, we could win this year, the hostess of the sports home in Allmendingen Vittoria Leichtle, with their traditional pizza but also homemade Maultaschen or Kasseler roast with potato salad, the staff to feed. In addition, Lorena and Noah Schick prepared delicious crêpes for the sweet palate and, of course, the ice cream cart from Häfele’s farm ice cream was a must.

All in all, it was a thoroughly successful and convivial party!

A big thank you goes to the TSV Allmendingen football department, which, as every year, actively helped with the assembly and disassembly, as well as the drinks.
