On July 08, 2017, the Burgmaier Group had its annual summer party. The party, organized to express thanks to the employees and their families, took place in the sports ground of the sports club TSV Allmendingen for the second time, after being held on the premises of the plant in Laupheim for many years.

In best weather, the first employees arrived at 3 o’clock p.m. Altogether, more than 460 guests came during the afternoon. It was a particular pleasure that also in this year colleagues from France, from Burgmaier Precisdec SNC and from Slovakia, from Burgmaier Precision Slovakia s.r.o., could be welcomed.

After his welcome speech, in which he thanked all colleagues for the permanently high commitment, Karl-Hugo Schick, managing partner of the group, wished everybody a pleasant and relaxed party. Then Mr. Howald, commercial manager, took over and held the annual lottery of proposals, in which accepted improvement proposals of the past years are awarded separately. The first prize was a travel coupon at a value of 500 Euros. This year, the lucky winner was Mr. Bal, an employee at the washing system in the plant in Allmendingen, who had his son make the decisive draw for him.

This year, the summer party was held under the slogan „Burgmaier fun fair“ and numerous attractions for all family members were offered. The main attraction was an illustrator, who made cartoons of the visitors. Additionally, the children let off steam at the bungee run, the bouncing castle or at the blazing red toy car.

Furthermore, all visitors had the opportunity to win a chocolate marshmallow at the marshmallow catapult. The children also had the chance to cool down in small paddling pools. In the evening, there was a boisterous disco party in the pavilion.

A vast selection of food was offered, for example, coffee and cakes, barbecue food with salads, pizza, ice cream and crêpes, and plenty of beverages were also available.

„All in all, the party was again a great success with plenty of fun for all family members“, said managing partner Karl-Hugo Schick.
