On Thursday April, 26th, nationwide the Girls‘ Day took place again this year, where female students are given an insight into technical jobs.
This year, we also has participated more than successfully again.
This year, we have been able to win 16 girls for our Girls‘ Day from the schools in Allmendingen and Obermarchtal.
After a short welcome by our Commercial Director Mr. Clifford Howald and our training ambassadors, the practical part started.
One of the three groups started the project part „pen holder“ on the turning and milling machines in the training workshop, while the second group in the training room dealt with a wide variety of measuring instruments and drawings. In the meantime, the third group was able to gain an impression of the activities and the workplace of our technical professions during the company tour.
The initial reluctance had quickly given way to curiosity and the girls were enthusiastic about it. The groups were exchanged after every 1.5 hours. So that every group was able to go through every station.
For the small gaps, the students could tackle a small course with a wide variety of understanding and logic questions. As a reward, the best three received vouchers.
After the farewell and a small feedback session, the girls were released in their well-deserved closing time.
